REPRIEVE

Now that we’re entering the Winter months (how, already?!), I find myself craving the cosy promise of relaxing by candlelight, hot drinks on cool mornings, and the ceremony of gathering and connecting with loved ones over dinner parties at home. I love the creative shift to moodier tablescapes and adding layers to the spaces we dwell in. The smallest design choices can bring soul and sentiment to our homes; an opportunity to breathe new life into corners where the dust has settled.

For some, reprieve from a crazy social calendar is welcomed; the shorter and cooler days inviting you to spend more time indoors. Personally, I’m looking forward to jumping on a plane to Europe next week to enjoy a three-week reprieve from the Winter chill and a seemingly endless head cold. Bliss. Copenhagen > London > Paros > Puglia; spending quality time with friends, family, and my better half. I’m looking forward to thawing out, exploring new (and old) places, and eating my weight’s worth in pasta and pastries, with a little wine for good measure.
