DECORATIVE HOME TOUCHES TO WELCOME IN THE NEW SEASON
I love a seasonal shift that encourages us to change up, celebrate and savour our daily rituals. Autumn is one of the most beautiful seasons watching the leaves turn shades of ruby, to yellow, to brown.. I love the crisp change it brings with it in the mornings. After an incredibly humid Summer here in Sydney, I’m welcoming this one with open arms.
The adding of layers to bring warmth, the readjusting of pace to bring a sense of ‘slow’ to our day to day, the focus on inviting in everything ‘cosy’. Cups of tea in a sunny spot wrapped in a blanket, warming, comforting dinners with lots of grains and spices, unwinding by candlelight (always). The re-imagining of our dwellings to cater to a skew towards time spent indoors.
