Celebrating Autumn
WITH BOGLE FAMILY VINEYARDS WINE
My love of entertaining extends beyond just creating a tablescape and a good playlist. What’s on the menu plays a significant role in bringing an overall ‘feeling’ to life for every gathering, and I love nothing more than using seasonal flavours to make this happen. And making sure there’s something equally as delicious to serve up on the drinks menu is just as important… enter: Bogle Family Vineyard wine.
The Bogle family has been farming in the Californian region of Clarksburg for six generations, and are third generation wine makers, sustainably producing wines of an exceptional character and quality. And if you’re anything like me and have a soft spot for a beautiful buttery chardonnay, the Bogle Vineyard 2021 Vintage Chardonnay does not disappoint. A silky smooth wine, with notes of honeysuckle, tangerine, and vanilla, and a lingering crème brulee finish.. this is the chardonnay to end them all!
Out of the many reasons to love Autumn, the crisp mornings and evenings are something I adore. There’s nothing quite like it… the clear, fresh air, and the light that shines through just that little bit different. Taking a picnic outdoors with a blanket or two, enjoying a cheese board, and of course pairing with (and savouring) a favourite wine, is one of my favourite things to do when the cool change arrives.
